Anti-Melee Mesmer
Can someone give me advice on a good anti-melee mesmer character build. Thanks for the help.

Empathy is a must. Spirit of Failure helps too, with Mantra of Distortion protecting you from melee. Warrior/Monks are popular, so it helps to have a Power Drain and Shatter Enchantment on hand too.

Me/Ne Price of Failure, Spirit of Failure, Empathy, Soothing Images or Sympathetic Visage, Spirit Shackles, Soul Barbs, Mind Wrack, and Cry of Frustration for good measure. Requires a fairly broad use of Domination, Illusion, Inspiration, and Curses, do 10/8/9/9, and honestly, feel free to use a Major rune for both Domination and Illusion. You may even want to completely remove Illusion and Soothing/Sympathetic and use Panic as your Elite, and spend the points into Domination further, since really, they'll be missing so much it may not matter to remove their adrenaline, especially with the amount of evading type skills people are using more often.
